When you call, tell us what the door is doing - won't open, one spring snapped, opener runs but the door won't move, that kind of thing. That's enough for us to bring the right parts on the first trip instead of guessing and coming back twice.
We work on houses built anywhere from the late 1950s through the mid-2000s, which covers most of what's out here - Eden Prairie's housing stock runs a wide range, with a lot of it dating to the 1960s and 70s. That matters because a door from 1965 and a door from 1998 don't take the same torsion spring, and we'd rather know before we're standing in your driveway than after.

We don't sell smart-home add-ons unrelated to the door itself, and we don't carry every opener brand ever made - we'll tell you straight if we don't stock a part for yours and how long it'll take to get it in.
Given the age spread of homes in this area, median build year in the late 1970s, we see a steady mix of both simple fixes and full teardown-and-replace jobs, sometimes on the same street. What decides which one you need isn't the age of the house so much as how the door's been maintained - a well-lubricated 1975 door can outlast a neglected one from 2005.
